Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aquila platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Aquila Legal Inc. (“Aquila,” “we,” “us”).

Use of Service

Aquila provides a document processing and compliance platform for financial guardianships, trusts, estates, and fiduciary litigation. You may use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the platform to upload content that is fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of any applicable law.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Aquila is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

Intellectual Property

The Aquila platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is the property of Aquila Legal Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload to the platform. We do not claim any rights to your content.

Limitation of Liability

Aquila provides AI-assisted analysis and report generation as a tool to support professional judgment. The platform does not provide legal, accounting, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before submitting them to any court or regulatory body. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aquila shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. You may request export of your data prior to termination.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
